Project Type: Full Bathroom Remodel
Investment: $35K+
Timeline: 6–8 weeks
Location: Grapevine, TX
Most bathroom remodels start with a fixture. A tub someone fell in love with. A vanity they saw on Pinterest. A shower system they couldn’t stop thinking about.
This master bath remodel Grapevine TX started with a tile.
The homeowners were in the middle of a complete whole-house renovation when they walked into our showroom and pointed to a dramatic geometric pattern tile. That was the moment the entire bathroom design clicked into place — because once you commit to a tile that strong, every other decision becomes easier.
The geometric pattern tile appears on the shower walls, the tub surround, and the accent areas throughout the space. This wasn’t accidental — it was a deliberate design strategy. When you’re renovating an entire house at once, decision fatigue is real. By anchoring the bathroom around one bold, beautiful tile and carrying it throughout, the design stays cohesive without feeling repetitive.
It’s a move that takes confidence. And it paid off beautifully.
The custom walk-in shower lets the geometric tile do the talking. Rather than competing with it, every other element steps back and supports it. White subway tile fills the walls between dramatic geometric accent columns, keeping the space bright without diluting the impact of the pattern. A hexagon mosaic floor adds texture underfoot — a subtle nod to the geometric theme that rewards anyone who looks closely. A built-in niche with mosaic tile inlay and a sleek frameless glass enclosure complete the shower without adding visual clutter.
The result is a shower that feels intentional from every angle.
The freestanding soaking tub sits against a geometric tile half wall — the same tile, continuing the story. A brushed nickel wall mount tub filler keeps the look clean and architectural. No floor-mounted filler. No clutter. Just the tub, the tile, and the light.
For a family in the middle of a chaotic whole-house renovation, this corner of the bathroom became their favorite thing about the entire project.
A gray shaker double vanity with white quartz countertop and brushed nickel fixtures rounds out the space. The gray cabinetry is warm enough to soften the geometric tile without competing with it — a careful balance that keeps the vanity wall feeling grounded and elegant rather than busy.
Underfoot, large format wood-look porcelain tile runs throughout the entire bathroom. The warm, organic texture of the wood-look finish provides a natural counterpoint to the geometric pattern tile above — grounding the space and adding a layer of warmth that makes the bathroom feel livable, not just beautiful.
Not every bathroom remodel needs a dozen design decisions. Sometimes the best projects start with one great choice — and everything else falls into place around it. This master bath remodel Grapevine TX is proof of that.

At I Love My Bathroom!, we believe the difference between a good remodel and a great one lives in the details. The brushed nickel finish carried consistently across every fixture — from the tub filler to the vanity pulls to the shower trim — is the kind of detail most people won’t consciously notice. But they’ll feel it. That sense that everything belongs together, that nothing feels out of place, that the space was designed rather than assembled. That’s what we obsess over on every project, and it’s what makes this this master bath remodel Grapevine TX something the homeowners will love for decades to come.
