When the Keller homeowners came to us, they knew they wanted marble. Calacatta marble has a timeless quality that communicates luxury without trying too hard — it’s been the material of choice for high end spaces for centuries, and for good reason. But they didn’t want a bathroom that felt cold or sterile. They wanted drama. They wanted contrast. They wanted something that felt truly one of a kind.
Our designer Melanie Saba proposed pairing the Calacatta marble with dark granite accent panels and a pebble mosaic floor — and the moment the homeowners saw the concept, they knew it was exactly right.
The Calacatta marble porcelain tile runs from floor to ceiling throughout the entire bathroom, creating a seamless, immaculate backdrop that makes the space feel larger and more luxurious than its actual dimensions. Large format tiles minimize grout lines and maximize the visual impact of the marble’s natural veining — every wall becomes a work of art in its own right.
Calacatta marble porcelain is also an exceptionally practical choice for a bathroom environment. It delivers the timeless beauty of natural stone with superior resistance to moisture, staining, and daily wear — a material that will look just as stunning in twenty years as it does today.
The custom walk-in shower is where the design truly comes alive. Dark granite accent panels provide a stunning counterpoint to the white marble walls — grounding the shower with a sense of depth and drama that marble alone could never achieve. The dark pebble mosaic floor continues the theme underfoot, adding texture and a natural, organic quality that feels luxurious beneath bare feet.

It transforms the tub area from a functional space into a genuine destination — the kind of place you actually want to spend time.
